We hire art specialists who view art as something important to integrate into the main academic program. We want our children to learn about the creative process both by participating in it and by studying the great artists of history. Learning about shapes, colors, textures, angles, and proportion is central to understanding art and how we experience the world through our senses. We see this as an essential part of elementary education, rather than a luxury.
