Science and Science Lab

The CRC-CS has found that science instruction has become central to our literacy efforts.  Elementary students naturally have a great curiosity about the world around them. This curiosity when stimulated by hands on experience, whether as part of the regular classroom instruction or weekly science lab, can lead to use of all academic skills and the process is fun.  We feel that the on going process of integration of science into our curriculum is taking another step forward with our  further extension of our use of the FOSS program and hiring of a new science lab director.
